THE ARCHITECTURE OF RICHARD AND DION NEUTRA IN THE 21ST CENTURY

The firm celebrated it's 75th year in practice in 2001. As we go into our fourth quarter, it is important to reiterate the firm mission.

• Design of new facilities with our new logo — DNA Logo, described as Designed by Neutra Associates™.
• Committment to new projects — Conforming to LEEDS standards for sustainability and recyclability as well as energy efficiency both as to fossil fuels as well as human energy conservation. Dion carries on in the tradition established by his father in the '20s and later by them both in their practice.
• Consultation Services — For new projects as well as consultation on restoration and conservation of existing Neutra projects are the backbone of the practice today. Preservation, not only of Neutra but all projects of value to our community.
• Stewardship of the Neutra Institute for Survival Through Design: Acting as Executive Consultant to the Board, Dion continues to develop projects and programs for this 501 (c3) non-profit corporation. This website and other aspects of the Institute are sustained by volunteers.
